Dear AWC family and friends,
Cool breezes and falling leaves have finally arrived in Seoul, bringing us to November.
This month, we enter the season of gratitude, in which we’ll celebrate American Thanksgiving. I’d like to take this time to express my thanks for our AWC Korea community: for our members, for our board and committee volunteers, and for each of our partner organizations and businesses. It is a blessing to have such a group of talented, passionate and inspiring women in our crew, along with your friends and families.
I am also thankful for your dedication. In October, we raised funds for breast cancer awareness through our Pretty in Pink walk and dinner event. The original walk portion of the event might have been rained out, but the spirit of sisterhood and support sparkled through the weather at dinner that night. We completed the walk later, and proceeds from the walk and dinner will be donated to the Korean Breast Cancer Foundation.
I look forward to seeing many of you at our November events. Please join us for the Seoul Club SLC Bazaar (tomorrow!), group pilates, coffee morning and more.
