November 2023 Newsletter

Dear AWC friends,

We hope this November issue of our newsletter finds you in good health and with a sense of calm. The American Thanksgiving holiday is held this month, and in the spirit of giving thanks, I express my gratitude to you all.

It is such a privilege and honor to be amongst such a diverse group of thought partners, and sisters for sharing wisdom, support, friendship and community. As we enter the Thanksgiving season, I would like to personally thank our committed AWC Board and Committee Members for the countless hours of volunteerism, dedication and hard work that they put toward strengthening and serving our community. A special thank-you also to all of our AWC members and company partners for being part of this wonderful community. Together, we are strong. If anyone is interested in joining us at my home for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner on November 18, please sign up in the Facebook members group.

We’ve added two new AWC partners this month: Bistro Mexi and Hair Sensations. Please see details at the end of this email, along with the rest of our 25 AWC partners.

As you all know, October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we are proud to report that, together with BASS, we will donate funds to breast cancer research and awareness efforts. Special acknowledgment goes to AWC Member Joan Hoffman, who was the highest donor for our walking fundraiser.

Please save the date for our Annual AWC Charity Gala, taking place January 13 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul. We hope you can join us for this amazing night of dinner, dancing, raffles and more!

Blessings and Gratitude,

Betty Chung
